As part of its core purpose, Mexico City Very Young organizes a wide-range of events and activities in a participation-friendly format. This constitutes a great opportunity for members to exchange ideas and discuss common subjects while getting to know recognized practitioners.
Some of the events and activities that we organized are the following:
Meet the client. Following the successful program organized by our sister organization: PVYAP (Paris Very Young Arbitration Practitioners), meet the client focuses on meeting and discussing with general counsels of top companies in diverse industries. The event’s objective is to learn on the expectations general counsels have from law firms and past experiences involving arbitration proceedings.
Workshops. These events have the goal of developing practical skills in specific subjects. e.g., best strategies in cross examination, crucial considerations before initiating arbitration proceedings, etc.
IA Hot Topics. The Hot Topics event is meant to be a relaxed exchange of ideas on recent and relevant developments in the arbitration practice.
The after work. Creating great networking opportunities, the after work’s objective is to unite young practitioners in different locations in order to strengthen the arbitration community in Mexico City.
